Australia Int’l filmfest to screen Iran ‘Animal’

Iran's ‘Animal’ is to be screened at an Australian Int’l Filmfest in 2018.

Iranian short film ‘Animal’ has been scheduled to compete at the 27th edition of the Flickers Fest Film Festival in Australia.

Directed by Bahman and Bahram Ark, the Iranian short film will compete at the Australian film event in January 2018.

The 15-minute short film depicts the story of a man who wants to pass the border illegally; so he hunts a ram and decides to escape disguised as the animal.

So far, the short film has succeeded to attend a number of international film events all around the world.

the Flickers fest began as a small local festival in 1991. Since then it has grown to become Australia’s leading film event. Now it is an international film festival with thousands of entries coming from filmmakers across the globe.

The 27th edition of the Flicker Fest Short Film Festival is slated for January 12-21, 2018, in Sydney, Australia.
